Trip Overview
Bhedetar is around 405 km far away fromKathmandu and 17 km from Dharan. It is located at a height of 1,420 meters above sea level. Bhedetar is a developing Tourist spot and famous for its unpredictable weather a moment it hides in the blanket of thick fog & another moment. Bhedetar is a peaceful environment watching beautiful scenarios with interesting weather conditions and chills. Bhedetar was given by travelers themselves because there were lots of sheep (Bheda). Namaste waterfall is very famous in Bhedetar, which the locals also call Simsuwa Jharna. Many tourists come here for visit, to take pictures and have fun with a waterfall. There is also an adventure place for paragliding from Bhedetar to Dharan. There are other three beautiful nearby hilltops namely Sailung Danda (1450 m), okhre (1700 m), and DhawajeDanda (2040 m) from Bhedetar. Bhedetar Bazar itself is a hill station. Bhedetar is also a good shopping place for varied locally grown products like Churpi (hard cheese) and the famed coconut biscuit of Dhankuta. Namje bazar is located at 3-kilometer away from Bhedetar bazar. It is famous for its homestay venue which is inhabited by the Magar community.
Detail Itinerary
Day 1 Kathmandu -Dharan
In the morning, we drive from Kathmandu to Dharan. It is 380 km far away from Kathmandu. The distance from Kathmandu to Dharan almost covers eight and a half hours to reach. Have lunch on the way. After lunch directly we move to our destination Dharan. When reaching the destination guests are provided with rest and leisure time for visiting around. At night have a non-veg dinner and night stay at the hotel.
Day 2 Dharan – Bhedetar
Early in the Morning, We will go to visit the famous Dantakali temple and Budha Subba temple where the bamboo plants do not have a top part and no crows are seen around the area. After this, return to the hotel and have breakfast. Then we will move to our next destination Bhedetar. Reach Bhedetar and check-in hotel then we move to visit Namaste waterfall (SimsuwaJharna). After returning back we will have a Non-veg dinner and a night’s stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Bhedetar to Kathmandu
Early morning after having breakfast we check out of the hotel. Then we move toward Pathivara Temple for worship which is known as a branch of Taplejung’s Pathivara to okhre view tower. Then we move toward Bedetar Bazar for shopping for a while. Then we will move towards Kathmandu. Will have lunch on the way.
